When a little girl goes to sleep, the moment is full of sensitivity, small important matters, shy, quiet questions, and fragile innocence. Aura's lullaby is dedicated to my little daughter, Aura. But I hope that somewhere, sometimes, there will be a moment when this little piece brings a sense of security to some small person, in a foreign country, on the way to a new home. 
The comping instrument on this track is a Finnish kitchen tool, an egg slicer that, played gently, reminds many Finnish children of a toy harp or kantele.
